This week, we focused on refining all our solutions based on feedback from user testing to ensure they meet ADA compliance and address legibility issues. We also standardized font sizes and styles across the entire ecosystem and finalized material and dimension details.

Key Activities:

1. ADA Compliance and Legibility:
   • Addressed all identified ADA compliance issues.
   • Improved legibility by adjusting font sizes and contrast levels.
2. Consistency in Font Sizes and Styles:
   • Standardized font sizes and styles across all materials to ensure a cohesive user experience.
3. Material and Dimension Details:
   • Finalized the materials and dimensions for all physical deliverables, ensuring durability and usability.
4. Communication with Partner:
   • Sent an email to Erin to discuss deliverables and handoff details:
     • Confirmed file types for printable and digital assets.
     • Discussed display formats and TV sizes.
     • Requested 3-4 residents to submit 12 digital artworks each for the pilot phase.
     • Outlined the process for Erin to print templates and test the digital slideshow on screens.
     • Provided budget suggestions for printing templates in bulk and distributing the Friendship Toolkit.
     • Inquired about volunteer support for residents needing assistance with writing or typing.

Next Steps:

• Await Erin’s feedback to clarify any handoff-related queries.
• Begin compiling the final dossier based on refined solutions and partner input.

1. Deliverables:

• PDFs are confirmed as an acceptable format for all deliverables.

2. Canva Access:

• Erin does not currently have a Canva account. We need to confirm if a free account will suffice for accessing and editing our digital assets.

3. Screen Details:

• Erin will coordinate with her colleague, Tim, to gather information about the TV screen sizes and formats in place at Enso Village.

4. Volunteers:

• There are no volunteers available currently to assist residents with tasks such as writing or typing.

5. Resident Artwork:

• Erin will request residents to submit their digital artworks.
• One resident has proactively created a slideshow of her work and is keen to display it. Erin will ask this resident to share the slideshow with us for testing purposes.
